The Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University celebrated the great holiday of Nauryz. The ceremonial event, dedicated to March 20 – National Sports Day, began with sports games organized by the Department of Physical Education and Informatics. Participants competed in national games, the winners were awarded.

The celebration continued with a concert program. Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, associate professor Zhubantaev Izimgali Nurymovich, on behalf of the university administration, delivered a congratulatory speech, wishing new discoveries and success in the new year.

The event demonstrated the traditions of the Kazakh people, national heritage – customs and rituals. The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology introduced the Bosaga Mailau ceremony, and the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies demonstrated the Betashar ceremony, which is conducted during a wedding ceremony. The Department of Finance and Economics demonstrated at a high level the ritual when a newborn child is placed in a cradle after seven days and the adhan is pronounced, and also given a name. The concert program was decorated with student singing, kuis of the Shanak uni ensemble and dances of the Kazakh Aru ensemble. The founder of the university, Doctor of Historical Sciences Bayan Gabbasovna Shintimirova made a closing speech, and at the end of the event, the guests enjoyed a treat at a generous table and tried a specially prepared national soup, kozhe.
