Basic concepts and general requirements
Academic mobility is the movement of students for a certain academic period (including the passage of educational or industrial practice), as a rule, a semester or academic year, to another higher educational institution (domestic or abroad) for training or research, with mandatory transfer in the established in the order of mastered educational programs in the form of loans in their university.
The goals, objectives and general rules for ensuring and implementing academic mobility correspond to the basic principles of the Bologna Declaration.
The main forms of academic mobility are:
– joint programs;
– network consortia of universities;
– academic exchanges between partner universities;
– passing educational (research, industrial) practice;
– passing an internship;
– summer semesters of universities.
Students provide the coordinator of academic mobility of faculties with the required package of documents before the specified deadline. The requested documents may differ depending on the chosen program and university. The applicant for participation in the academic mobility program, using the adviser of the graduating department, selects the partner university, determines the list of disciplines for study. The graduating department is responsible for coordinating the curriculum with the partner university.
The selection of students is carried out within the framework of an open competition procedure in accordance with the principles of equality of opportunity, merit, abilities and social activities. The calculation takes into account academic performance, knowledge of the host language (or English), compliance with the program or exchange agreement.

Academic mobility of university students is carried out both on the basis of international agreements (international programs, memoranda and cooperation agreements, exchange and scholarship programs) with foreign partner universities, and on the basis of agreements with domestic and foreign universities: University of Economics (Bydgoszcz, Poland), Udmurt State University, Almetyevsk State Petroleum University, Tambov State Technical University, Samara State Social Pedagogical University, Orenburg State Pedagogical University, South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University, Kalmyk State University named after. B.B. Gorodovikova, Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after. M. Akmully, Ural State Pedagogical University, Moscow State University of Communications and Informatics, Yerevan State Linguistic University. V. Bryusov, Belgorod State National Research University, West Kazakhstan University named after. M. Utemisov, Aktobe Regional University named after. K. The following documents are accepted to be sent to Kazakhstani partner universities:
- Copy of identity card – 2 copies;
- Application of the student – 2 copies. (Department of academic mobility and MS);
- Agreement for training – 2 copies (Department of academic mobility and MS);
- Photo 3 * 4 – 2 pcs;
- Transcript;
- Personal sheet (questionnaire);
- Working curriculum (RCP) for the academic year (at the department, copy);
- Individual curriculum (IEP);
- Medical certificate in the form No. 075 / y (for a hostel);
- Written consent of the parents in free form (with signatures and phone numbers of the parents), if the student is under 18 years old;
- Copies of diplomas, certificates, diplomas, letters of thanks, if any.
When planning and organizing external academic mobility, the following regulatory documents are used:
– application of a student traveling under mobility programs;
– agreement on training on mobility programs;
– transcript about training;
– tripartite agreement (subject to a paid international exchange program);
– a copy of the student’s identity card;
– a copy of a foreign passport to receive an invitation from the host;

After completing their studies at a partner university, students must submit the following documentation to the training department or the WKITU mobility coordinator within 10 days:
– a report on the completion of training at the partner university;
– training transcript.
