From August 8 to 13, 2026, the Republican Championship of Kazakhstan in Presidential All-Around Competition was held in Astana.

Shalaev B.B., Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Education Disciplines of the Industrial Technologiсal Institute, took an active part in the championship.

The sports event program included a two-event competition, pull-ups on the horizontal bar, and a 1,000-meter run. More than 300 participants, representing 17 teams from all regions of Kazakhstan, took part in the championship.

Following the results of the Championship, Bulat Burdekechevich became the Absolute Champion of Kazakhstan in the 70+ age category, competing against 10 participants.
