On April 12, 2023, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology

held a seminar on the topic “Prevention of HIV/AIDS and drug addiction among young people”.

The purpose of the seminar: HIV prevention/AIDS and drug addiction; informing young people about ways to introduce them to a healthy lifestyle.

Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, associate professor Azhgaliev Marat Kairzhanovich addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. The seminar was attended by: Umbetova Gulnara Kimovna, prevention teacher of the Regional Center for AIDS Prevention and Control of the Health Department of the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region; senior inspector of the women’s protection group from violence of the local police Service Department of the West Kazakhstan Region Satarova Dilyara Makhmudovna; specialist therapist of the “Zhastar” center Nigmetova Gulnara Sarsengalievna; director of the educational and development center “Zerek”, Master of Philology Zhumabaev Manarbek Sainovich; teacher-psychologist, moderator of the podcast club “Pages of logotherapy” Dautova Dana; students of the 1-3 courses of the Pedagogical faculty.

The closing speech was made by the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor Kinzhekova R.S. Summing up the seminar, she noted that one should not treat the health of young people indifferently, it is necessary to pay great attention to the interaction between parents and children in raising a generation that is the successor to an independent state and will contribute to its prosperity.
