On April 16, 2023, more than 85 seedlings were planted as part of the republican forest planting day in the center of Uralsk.

Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliev, vice-rector for educational work of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University Ayanbek Abekeshev and public figures of the region took part in this action. The participants of the action together planted tree seedlings at the intersection of N. Nazarbayev Avenue with Sarayshyk Street, where the educational building of WKITU is located. This event was held as part of the month of sanitary cleaning and improvement of Uralsk.
