On the 11th of September, 2026 a thematic educational and awareness-raising event entitled “Family – the Golden Cradle of Upbringing” was held at the Zh. Moldagaliev Library. The event was dedicated to the importance of the family in educating the younger generation, as well as to preserving national traditions and spiritual values.
The main idea of the event was to demonstrate that the family is the first and most important environment in which a child’s character, moral qualities, behavioral culture, and life values are formed. It is within the family that a child receives their first lessons in respecting elders, loving their homeland, being responsible, showing kindness, and helping others.
During the meeting, participants discussed family values, continuity between generations, respect for parents and elders, and the preservation of Kazakh traditions and customs. Particular attention was paid to the role of national culture and family upbringing in shaping a well-rounded and harmoniously developed individual. The event was attended by first-year students of the EP “Architecture” at the Industrial Technological Institute of (ITI), S.K. Shaukeneva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines, and invited guests. The meeting was held in a warm and informative atmosphere. Participants explored literature devoted to family, education, and national traditions, and also had an opportunity to take part in the discussion and exchange their views.
