On the 7-th of April, 2023, a scientific and practical seminar for students and magistrands was held on the topic: “Psychological and pedagogical problems in the context of global changes”, organized by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, dedicated to the Day of Science Workers.

The purpose of the seminar: the role of a specialist teacher-psychologist in the modern development process and the problems of training teachers in the context of global changes

During the seminar, the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogics, associate professor Kinzhekova R. S. spoke about the current issues of training teachers in the context of global changes, linking them with the situation in our educational institution.

A young scientist of the department, N.zh. Sultaniyazova, voiced a question on the topic ”Social and psychological predictors of subjective well-being of Russians and Kazakhs living in Russia and Kazakhstan.”

A first year magistrand of the educational program ” Pedagogy and Psychology” Gabdrakhimova N. N. and a 3-rd year student of the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology” Amangeldieva A. noted the importance of linking the pedestal of education with national values in the era of globalization.

Guest of the event, Candidate of Psychology, associate professor of WKU Nurgaliev K.A. spoke about the role of a modern psychologist in the life of society, about the increase in demand for psychologists, shared information about new areas of psychology and teaching technologies.
