On November 14, 2024, senior lecturer Amanova B.N. held a round table on the topic at the Department of Architecture and Construction within the framework of the research student circle “Kurylyshy”: “Modern information technologies and innovations in architectural and construction activities”. The event was attended by the head of the “Center for Engineering and Professional certification” Kazhiyakhmetova A.A., students and faculty of the department.

The purpose of the event: to discuss the experience of developing and applying advanced information technologies in the field of architectural and construction activities; to popularize research activities among students and improve the level of professional training of future specialists.

Students participating in the event spoke on topical topics: prospects for the development of artificial intelligence in architecture and construction of Kazakhstan, the use of VR and AR technologies in construction, the development of digital and BIM technologies. Students presented their projects, shared personal impressions and discussed the introduction of new technologies. At the end of the round table, the head of the department N. M. Bekaliyev noted the importance of the event, the relevance of the issues raised and the need to develop scientific and project activities.
