Within the framework of the quality week held at our university, today the Department of digitalization and innovation, the Center for educational technologies and blended learning, the Department of Physical Culture and Informatics jointly organized a methodological seminar. The main feature of this measure is to move away from theory and create works aimed at practical application. The rapid development of artificial intelligence and neural networks in the field of Education has shown the need to apply it in practice right now, so the seminar discussed topical issues in this direction and proposed effective methods.
During the seminar, the participants were engaged in active work, covering the following topics:
✓Artificial intelligence and generative AI models
✓Prompt structure and request in the chat
✓Communication style and communication with chatbot
✓Overview of neural network-based platforms
✓Advice on academic integrity for teachers
A special speaker of the seminar was Svetlana Mendigalievna, head of the Center for educational technologies and blended learning, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor. She shared her rich experience in freely mastering the capabilities of ChatGPT and successfully using it in the educational process, and presented model options for teachers. This experience of the professor gave a boost to the minds of the seminar participants and inspired them to effectively use artificial intelligence in their classes.
This seminar was an important step towards improving the quality of education at our university, teaching teachers and students the skills of working with technological aids.
