On May 15, 2026, Uralsk hosted the first regional festival of innovations and digital technologies, IT SPEAKERS DAY, dedicated to the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan.

The event was organized on the initiative of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the West Kazakhstan region together with representatives of the IT business, educational organizations and the regional business community.

The main goal of the festival is to create a single platform for interaction between business, education and youth, as well as popularize digital technologies, entrepreneurship and innovative thinking among the younger generation.

Special attention within the framework of IT SPEAKERS DAY will be paid to the role of entrepreneurs in the development of the digital economy of the region. Heads of IT companies, representatives of the business community, entrepreneurs, investors, teachers, students and schoolchildren spoke at the venue.

During the festival, the participants discussed:

-the introduction of artificial intelligence in various industries;

-development of domestic IT projects;

-new professions of the digital age;

-opportunities for youth in technology and entrepreneurship;

-support for startups and innovative initiatives.

Sharafadinova Nagipa, a 2nd-year student of the Computer Science educational program, was also awarded a certificate from Astana Hub confirming the right to non-competitive enrollment in the course “Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence”.
