For the first time, the large-scale innovation and digital technology festival IT SPEAKERS DAY was held in Uralsk. The event was organized within the framework of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan and became an important platform giving new momentum to the development of the regional IT sector.
The festival was organized at the initiative of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of West Kazakhstan Region with the support of IT business representatives, educational institutions, and the regional business community. The main goal of the event was to strengthen cooperation between business, education, and youth, as well as to promote digital technologies, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial culture among the younger generation.As part of IT SPEAKERS DAY, participants widely discussed the implementation of artificial intelligence in various industries, the development of domestic IT projects, new professions of the digital era, technological opportunities for young people, and support for startups
.During the festival, IT company executives, entrepreneurs, investors, teachers, students, and schoolchildren shared their experiences and discussed modern trends in technological development. In addition, students from regional IT lyceums, colleges, and universities presented their innovative projects. Young developers demonstrated new solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital education, robotics, and technological entrepreneurship.West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University also took an active part in the event. University representatives introduced educational programs, modern IT specialties, and opportunities available to students. In addition, university students presented their digital projects and innovative ideas, attracting significant interest from festival guests.Representatives of WKITU noted that the university trains qualified specialists in information technology, programming, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and artificial intelligence. Information was also provided about students’ participation in scientific projects, internships, and opportunities for developing IT startups.
According to the organizers, IT SPEAKERS DAY will become an important platform for developing the regional IT community, strengthening cooperation between business and education, and forming a new generation of digital leaders in Kazakhstan.
