On December 23, 2022, senior teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Pedagogical Faculty Baimukhanova B.K. and Kadyrzhanova Zh.E. held a methodological seminar “Modern trends in the training of teachers-psychologists: specialization and areas of activity” at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University.

The methodological seminar discussed issues of improving the educational program and issues of current areas of activity and specialists of professional training of modern teachers-psychologists.

The teaching staff of the university, students and educational psychologists from urban institutions were invited to the methodological seminar: a psychologist of the highest category of the West Kazakhstan regional Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Council – Shuinshalieva Saule Adilgereevna, a psychologist of the Otbasy Center in Uralsk – Shukirbaeva Indira Zholamanovna, senior officer, psychologist, department of the VISPR of the regional command “Batys” of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rashev Berik Beibetovich, psychologist-practitioner, member of the Kazakh Psychological Society, teacher-expert of the gymnasium school No. 44 named after D.Kunaev Bayan Aybolat Yerbolatovich, psychologist of the city polyclinic No. 6 of Uralsk Biyalieva Aizada Nurbolatovna. Invited colleagues expressed current opinions and suggestions on the issue of training competitive specialists of educational psychologists in connection with the topic of the methodological seminar. The moderator of the methodological seminar was K.P.Associate Professor Irgaliev A.S.

Methodological seminar on the topic: “Modern trends in the training of teachers-psychologists: specializations and areas of activity” presented new ideas on the direction of training specialists in the era of globalization.
