On December 07, 2022, a meeting of the section “Electrical Engineering and Automation” was held online (on the Zoom platform) at the Educational and Methodological Department of the State Unitary Enterprise Non-profit Joint Stock Company Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev (Satbayev University), in which the senior lecturer of the Department of Electricity, Automation and Computer Science Kim A.V. took an active part.

During the discussion, a proposal was made on the disciplines of the international online platform Coursera (the Project cooperates with universities that publish and maintain courses in various fields of knowledge in the system. Students take courses, communicate with fellow students, take tests and exams directly on the Coursera website), which can be made working curricula of EPs of our universities.

The meeting was held under the leadership of the chairman of the UMO GUP RUMS section “Electrical Engineering and Automation” Ass.Professor, Ph.D. Tashtai Erlan Tastaevich.

As a result of the meeting, it was unanimously decided to introduce the discipline “Fundamentals of Industrial Electronics” in the EP “Automation and Control”.
