In the 2025–2026 academic year, the Department of Law of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University conducted the final attestation of graduating students enrolled in the educational program 6B04202 – Law.

The purpose of the final attestation was to comprehensively assess graduates’ professional competencies, the level of their legal knowledge, their ability to apply legislation in practice, and their readiness to perform professional duties as future legal practitioners.

The Chair of the Final Attestation Commission was Alibek Assylbekovich Salykov, Head of the Investigation Department of the Police Department of West Kazakhstan Region and Police Colonel. The Commission also included Zh.K. Tuleugaliyeva, Master of Laws and Head of the Department of Law; T.Kh. Rakhmetov, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor; and E.A. Karagoyshiyev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law.

The comprehensive examination was developed in accordance with the intended learning outcomes of the educational program and aimed at assessing students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, and other specialized legal disciplines. The examination tasks were designed in line with current legislative requirements and contemporary law enforcement practice.

Within the framework of the long-term cooperation between the Department of Law and the Police Department of West Kazakhstan Region, students completed their professional and pre-diploma internships, gaining valuable experience in real professional settings. During their internships, students successfully demonstrated their ability to work with legal documents, classify legal offenses, conduct legal analysis, and make professional decisions.

Based on the results of the final attestation, the Chair of the Commission, Alibek Assylbekovich Salykov, highly appreciated the professional training of the graduates, emphasizing their ability to effectively integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience. He also positively assessed the students’ responsibility, discipline, adherence to professional ethics, and aptitude for service in law enforcement agencies demonstrated during their internships.

The Commission members noted that the graduates had fully achieved the learning outcomes stipulated by the educational program and had developed the competencies necessary for professional careers in law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, public service, advocacy, and corporate law.

The results of the final attestation confirmed the high level of professional training of the graduates and once again demonstrated the compliance of the educational program with the current demands of the labor market.
