At the Institute of Education and Management, following the results of the pedagogical practice of magistrands of the educational program 7M01101 – Pedagogy and Psychology, a seminar-workshop “Psychological and pedagogical support for children with special educational needs in educational organizations” was held. The practice was supervised by Candidate of Pedagogy, professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Tasimova A.A. The moderator of the seminar-workshop was a 2nd year magistrand Asauova Gulnara.
The purpose of the seminar: to develop in students the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for effective psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs, with an emphasis on creating their full socialization and successful realization of their potential.
The participants of the practical seminar were students, magistrands of the EP Psychology and Pedagogy and Psychology of the Institute of Education and Management, teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.
Magistrand Asauova G.L. made a report “Organization of work of psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs at school”.
Experienced educational psychologists, speech therapist of Podstepnyi secondary school No. 1 Makutova Ainagul Safievna were invited to the seminar, who demonstrated various methods of speech therapy for the use of various educational and developmental subjects. Educational psychologist Tulenova Tatyana Viktorovna conducted a training on the development of sensorimotor skills of children with special educational needs. Special teacher Eskalieva Azida Sagyndykovna held games on the development of sensorimotor skills, in which all participants of the seminar took an active part.
The leitmotif of this seminar was the statement of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Zh.Tokaev that “Inclusive education should become part of our education system. Every child has the right to quality education, regardless of the characteristics of his or her development. Our task is to create equal conditions for everyone.” Following the seminar-workshop, certificates and memos were presented to parents of children with special educational needs.
