On April 26, West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, Faculty of History and Law held a training seminar on the methodology of teaching history. The leader of the training seminar – teacher of history, teacher-researcher, master of humanities – UrazovYerzhanBerikovich, LLP “125 HIGH SCHOOL”, Uralsk. The purpose of the master class is to teach students to work in groups, cultivate a team spirit, listen to the opinions of their colleagues, be able to apply their knowledge in practice, controlling knowledge of the subject “History of Kazakhstan” through group tasks. The games used by YerzhanBerikovich in interpreting and mastering the material: “Thinking”, “Recognizing the meaning: a concept map”, “Reflection”, “Historical knowledge” showed that they are a very effective way to arouse students’ interest in the material. The master class was organized at a high level in order to learn about history, historical experience and its lessons, to understand the immutability of the past and the alternativeness of the future, and the participants received valuable information. The participants of the training seminar aimed at the exchange of experience were assisted by the educational institution in increasing the professional competence and creativity of the teacher, as an effective organizer of education in secondary schools.
