Identification of problematic aspects of the activities of the veterinary service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, finding the best ways to solve them based on the improvement of veterinary legislation, the introduction of scientific innovations, advanced technologies and other aspects of activity in veterinary medicine formed the basis of the discussion within the round table on the theme “Problems of veterinary medicine and ways to solve them” among West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University and Orenburg State Agrarian University. This round table brought together leading scientists from two partner universities on one platform.

The round table also discussed the development and implementation of joint projects aimed at solving educational, technological and research problems. Issues were discussed on the organization of academic mobility of faculty and students, the development and implementation of joint educational programs, joint scientific research of Ecology and Biotechnology the Department at Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty of WKITU and the Department of Non-Contagious Animal Diseases at Orenburg State Agrarian University.

The round table was held at a fairly high level. Such active interaction confirms the assumptions that such platforms for communication between scientists of partner universities are necessary, dialogue is possible and necessary, interesting for both parties, which means that such events should be held as a regular basis!
