On February 6-7, 2025, a lecture on “Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism“ was held for students of the Institute of Education and Management, the Institute of Industry Technologies of the WKITU with the participation of theologians from the Department of Religious Affairs in the West Kazakhstan region. The purpose of the meeting is to inform students about religion, to avoid the risk of joining religious organizations due to illiteracy, and to conduct awareness–raising about the dangers of negative religious movements. Extremism and terrorism pose a special threat to peace and security in states and societies, therefore, young people are called upon to avoid alien trends, to encourage young people to be humane, conscious citizens, devoting all their efforts and time to education and science. During the meeting, the lecturers explained how underground propaganda of destructive religious movements is spreading in society, and an informational video was shown.
