06.02.2025, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Zhumagulova G.A. took part in the scientific and methodological seminar “Actual problems of psychological service in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions”, organized by the “Center for training teachers of general development and vocational education” Institute of Economics, Information Technology and Vocational Education of Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University. The scientific-methodical seminar was devoted to actual psychological problems of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions and methods of their solution. Among the participants were Candidate of Psychology Sciences, Associate Professor of Mahambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University Nurgaliev K.A., psychologist of “Regional Methodical Center of Psychological Support” of Education Department of Akimat of West Kazakhstan region Mukhtarova A.S., psychologist of West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College Rskalieva A.B., psychologist of Higher Agrarian-Technical College Asan D.H. and others. Participants of the scientific and methodological seminar discussed such issues as ludomania, bullying, alcohol and drug addiction, stress. G.A. Zhumagulova made a report on “Effective methods of psychological assistance to the elderly”. The report was based on the experience of work with students of Silver University courses using art therapy methods and the effectiveness of their application in overcoming stress. This direction in work aroused great interest among the seminar participants and active discussion.
