The Department of “Power Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering” of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities organized for students of the 3rd year of OP 6B017102 – “Electric Power Engineering” a practical lesson on the discipline “Electric Power Engineering” at the 110/35/10 kV Omega substation. The students and teachers were welcomed by the leading TB engineer “West Kazakhstan REC LLP” N. B. Yerbayeva. The safety engineer familiarized the students and teachers with the safety rules at the substation.
Practical classes at the substation were conducted by Associate Professor Tulegenov K.K. and senior lecturer of the department Sarguzhieva B.A, Buranova N.G The student received detailed information about the operation of 110/35/10 kV Omega substations and could see with their own eyes the high-voltage equipment of substations, got acquainted with the loads and consumers of the substation.
