On November 1, 2024, the 1-st subject Olympiad was held at the West Kazakhstan University named after Makhambet Utemisov in the direction of training in educational programs 6B03201 – “Library Science”, 6B03207 – “Library and Pedagogical Activity” among students of higher educational institutions and colleges.
The “Oishylar” team of the educational program 6B03201-Library Science of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, consisting of 2nd year students Yerkezhan Orazgaliyeva, Ainur Arystanova, Akmanar Khamit, Aiym Baktiyarova, won the 1st place, demonstrating a high level of training, demonstrating knowledge in the subjects of “Library Services” and “Automated Library and Information Systems”, as well as formed skills in completing practical situational tasks and preparing a scientific project. For preparing the team, senior lecturer of the university Utesheva Z.B. was awarded a letter of thanks.
