November 1, 2024 Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Language and Translation Studies, m.p.s. Suyunova Aigerim Tulkibaevna held an open lesson with ID-411 group (TP 6B02301 Translation studies) from the discipline “Translation of economic and commercial texts”. The lesson was conducted on the topic: “Investment activities”. Materials such as a presentation on the topic, the Cambridge textbook “English for the financial sector” and audio materials, as well as the textbook “English Course for Financiers” were used in the lesson. Students read dialogues on the topic of the lesson, and made a sight translationtranslation. The purpose of the lesson was to improve students’ conversational skills through reading and listening. The lesson was conducted in English to increase the communicative focus of the educational process. At the end of the lesson, students answered various questions about investments and shared their points of view about a variety of investment sources.
