On September 12, 2024, representatives of West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology met with Laura Kalabaevna Paluanova, coordinator of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan.
Established over 35 years ago, Erasmus+ is the EU’s leading program in the field of education, vocational training, youth policy, and sports.
During the meeting, Laura Kalabaevna spoke about the activities of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan and outlined the opportunities offered by a range of Erasmus+ programs, including Erasmus Mundus, Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), and Jean Monnet Actions. She elaborated on the acceptance rates of proposals from Kazakhstani universities and shared recommendations for successful participation in an Erasmus+ program.
Faculty and students of the University showed great interest in the International Credit Mobility program and in the development and submission of proposals for the Jean Monnet Project.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program opens up new horizons for cooperation and development of the University.
