On April 29, 2025, the Department of Finance and Economics organized a meeting of the faculty and students with veterans of the Afghan war Tleuov Zamir Nurekeshovich and Zhamangarin Samat Bolatovich.
The purpose of the meeting is to reveal the historical semantic truth of the Afghan event, to introduce young people to patriotism, heroism, to pay tribute to veterans of the Afghan war, imitating the next generations of the exploits of our brothers who fought for independence.
For veterans who returned from the center of bullets and fire, Afghanistan became an incurable wound to the soul, the memory of the feat of our heroically fallen brave soldiers will forever remain in the memory of the country. Therefore, for each of us it is a sacred duty to show the younger generation an example of the courage of Afghan veterans, to honor the memory of the soldiers who died in the Afghan war.
During the meeting, patriotic songs were performed by the students of the institute, veterans spoke about their experiences in the war, answered questions from students, and read poems prepared by students about heroism and peace. As a token of gratitude, the respected brothers were presented with letters of thanks and memorable gifts.
