On April 13, 2026, in accordance with the plan of the Department of Physical Education and Informatics of the Institute of Education and Management at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, a regular meeting of the Academic Committee was held.
During the meeting, the educational programs 6B01401 – Physical Education and Sport, 7M01401 – Physical Education and Sport, 6B01501 – Informatics, and 6B01503 – Mathematics (IP) were reviewed. Their curricula, course content, module structures, and expected learning outcomes were analyzed.
As a result of the discussion, and taking into account stakeholders’ suggestions, the content of several disciplines was revised, and additional components aimed at improving learning outcomes were introduced. The adopted changes contribute to enhancing the quality of student training and the development of their professional competencies.
The meeting was attended by the faculty members of the department, master’s students, undergraduate students, and representatives of several educational institutions in the region. In particular, representatives from Secondary School No. 19, Secondary School No. 45, the West Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children, Secondary School No. 10 named after A. Baitursynov, the Specialized School for Children and Youth of the Olympic Reserve No. 1, the Regional Specialized Boarding College of the Olympic Reserve, as well as representatives of the Uralsk Higher College of Humanities and Economics and the Uralsk College of Information Technologies actively participated and provided their suggestions aimed at improving the educational programs.
The participants were actively engaged in the discussion and contributed proposals focused on enhancing the content and structure of the educational programs.
