On February 8, 2024, according to the agreed schedule of joint events with the DP in the West Kazakhstan region, students of the educational programs 6B04202 Jurisprudence, 6VP4203 Legal regulation of transportation, movement and operation of transport of the Department of Law of the Institute of Industry Technologies organized an excursion to the DP Museum in the West Kazakhstan region.
An employee of the DP personnel service, police Captain Armat Nurbolatov, showed the students the collected exhibits and materials telling about the history of the formation and development of the police in our region, and subsequently the police.The students saw photos of the first law enforcement officers, police officers who participated in the Great Patriotic War and served in the rear of our region. The museum exhibits include personal documents of employees, their awards for military merit and impeccable service in protecting public order, badges and service uniforms. Scientific and technical means were demonstrated: cameras from the 50s and 70s, flashlights, compasses, typewriters that police officers used in their work.
A separate stand is dedicated to Khalyk Kahramany, police captain Gaziz Baitasov, who died while suppressing an act of terrorism in Taraz in 2011.
The interest of the students was aroused by a 20 tenge coin damaged by a criminal’s bullet.which saved the life of the district inspector of the Abai OP, police captain Ibrashev Berik, who was injured when he detained a dangerous and armed criminal in Uralsk in 2002. For this feat, the latter was awarded the Order of “Aybin”.
The tour aroused great interest among future lawyers.
