As part of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Police Department for the West Kazakhstan Region and the ZKIT, on February 8, a practice-oriented lesson was organized at the Center for Operational Management of the DP for the West Kazakhstan Region for students of the Institute of Industry Technologies in educational programs 6B04203 Legal regulation of transportation, movement and operation of transport and 6B04202 Jurisprudence.

The senior inspector on duty at the Central Control Center of the Uralsk Police Department, police Major Azhgaliev Kairat Tabigatovich, conducted a lesson for students on the topic “The use of scientific and technical means of video systems in ensuring public and road safety in the territories of Uralsk.”

During the lesson, K.T. Azhgaliev talked about the tasks facing the police squads working in the Central Control Center around the clock to monitor law and order in public places, educational institutions and on the streets of the city. In addition, the video system provides great assistance in ensuring road safety, identifying and subsequently contributing to the introduction of video materials to police officers to bring violators of traffic rules to administrative responsibility.

Such real-time monitoring is currently carried out by about 400 video cameras of high-resolution control center cameras. In the case of street crimes, robberies, robberies, traffic accidents and other offenses, the operators of the Central Control Center, having discovered this on video surveillance cameras, immediately direct and orient police detachments to detain criminals, transmit their signs, search directions, if the offenders have fled the scene of their vehicles. The students were clearly demonstrated the high technical capability of video surveillance cameras when reading the state numbers of moving cars in the city.

The use of modern scientific and technical means in the work of the police has significantly increased the operational detection of street crimes and significantly helps in the prevention of accidents in the territory of the regional center.
