According to the approved anti-corruption plan for the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the WKITU on 04.11.24 the Compliance Service, as well as taking into account numerous requests from teachers, organized a meeting with the chief specialist of the Tax Administration for Uralsk Kazhimova A.A. on the upcoming declaration of all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 1, 2025.

In her speech, Ardak Altaevna noted that in order to counter corruption and combat the shadow economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, declarations are being phased in. In total, 13 million of our citizens will submit the declaration. So, since January 1, 2021, civil servants and persons equated to them and their spouses have submitted an income declaration. In 2023, the declaration was submitted by employees working in public institutions and the quasi-public sector and their spouses. From January 1, 2024, the income declaration is submitted by the founders of LLP, sole proprietors and their spouses, All other citizens, and this is the largest category – 6.4 million people, which includes those who have reached the age of majority, self-employed citizens, students working in the non-governmental sector, pensioners, the unemployed will submit an income declaration from January 1, 2025.

Real estate and transport abroad, money in a foreign bank abroad over 3.5million tenge (1000 MCI), a share in a foreign company, securities are subject to declaration.digital assets, equity agreements (share in a residential building), investment gold, intellectual property and copyrights, cash within KZT 34.5million, notarized loan agreements with other persons, other property (optional). The income declaration by citizens must be submitted on paper by July 15, or on electronic media by September 15, 2025.

Kazhimova A.A. answered all the teachers’ questions. Compliance officer Rakhmetov T.X also informed the audience about the placement of booklet information on this issue in all academic buildings of the Institute, the subsequent receipt of a special application and the establishment of interaction on this issue with the Tax Administration in Uralsk.
