On April 15, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Committee was held at the Department of History and Law, Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University. Stakeholders from the department’s educational programs 6B01601/7M01601 – History, 6B01602 – History and Social Science (IP), and 6B12301 – Law Enforcement participated in the meeting. The participants discussed the development of educational programs in detail, exploring ways to improve their quality and content. During the meeting, A.U. Tulegenova, Head of the Department of Planning and Organization of the Educational Process, spoke about current issues in improving educational programs and the main needs for updating them. Zh.T. Yernazarov, Head of the Department, also spoke about the current state of educational program improvement and the key needs for updating educational programs. L. A. Klimova, head of the department’s methodological council, presented the educational programs under the department’s jurisdiction. She noted the importance of the meeting and the fact that educational programs must currently meet the specific needs of employers due to significant changes in labor market requirements and the areas being considered.
The meeting was attended by the director of the school “SANA SCHOOL” M.G. Sapa, the director of the Higher Pedagogical College named after Zh. Dosmukhamedov A.Zh. Kayrlieva, the director of the historical and cultural museum reserve of the Ural town of WKO M.B. Ersaev, the history teacher of school-lyceum No. 27 named after M. Mametova A.S. Zhailanov, senior criminologist of the operational and forensic department of the Police Department of the WKR, police lieutenant colonel Malaev A.M., deputy head of the Uralsk police department, police lieutenant colonel Kurmatov D.Kh. and presented their proposals for educational programs. The participants of the meeting developed proposals for the draft educational programs, the content of disciplines, including expanding the scope of industrial practice, considered issues of making changes taking into account the modern requirements of the labor market. Based on the results of the meeting, the main recommendations and proposals for the further development of educational programs were developed, areas of interaction with employers’ organizations on issues of practice, internships, joint scientific and educational projects were determined, a decision was made to make the appropriate changes.
