On April 8–9, 2026, the Republican Subject Olympiad among university students was held in Almaty at the International Educational Corporation. The Olympiad brought together 87 students from 15 higher education institutions.

Representing our university were: student B.R. Muradym from group STR-31O of the 6B07302 “Construction” educational program, Department of “Architecture and Construction,” who participated in the discipline “Geotechnics-1,” and student N.V. Garbuz from group STR-32O, who participated in the discipline “Building Structures-1.”

The students demonstrated their knowledge, and student N.V. Garbuz (group STR-32O) became a winner, earning a 2nd-degree diploma under the supervision of PhD in Technical Sciences K.A. Narikov. Student B.R. Muradym (group STR-31O) also became a winner, earning a 3rd-degree diploma under the supervision of PhD in Technical Sciences B.T. Shakeshev.

For their outstanding achievements, the prize-winning students were awarded special certificates granting participation in the course “Drone Control and Working with Fablav,” which will be held at the International Educational Corporation within the framework of the Summer School from July 22 to 26, 2026.

In addition, the organizers expressed gratitude to the scientific supervisors and participants, wishing them great success. The event concluded with a small concert program and the awarding ceremony for the Olympiad winners.
