On January 20, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology, Culture and Teaching Methods of the Faculty of Languages and Management of the ZKITU Abdulmanov Altynbek Abutalievich held lectures on the “history of Russian literature” in an unconventional format with 4th year students studying under the curriculum “Kazakh language and Literature”. The topic of the lesson: “Russian classics who visited the Urals (A. S. Pushkin, V. Dahl, I. Krylov, L. Tolstoy, V.Korolenko, M. Sholokhov, etc.)”.

The Old Uralsk Museum is a folk museum. Antiquities and household items are stored here, which many no longer remember. There are also old books, photographs, maps confirming various historical facts. There are illustrations for various historical events. The lesson featured photographs, research papers telling about the lives of poets and writers who visited the Urals. The topic of the lesson aroused great interest among the students, they asked various questions and shared their impressions.
