On January 20, within the walls of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, the Educational Department, in order to popularize the friendship of peoples, held a meeting with members of the Assembly on the topic: “The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and New Kazakhstan”.
The event was attended by: Deputy Head of KSU “Kogamdyk kelisim” Sultangali Makhambet Amantayevich, Head of the Department for Work with Ethnocultural Associations of the ANC WKO Inessa Aleksandrovna Toboleva, Sergey Sergeevich Bykov – Chairman of the NGO “Center of Russian Culture” ANC WKO, Honored Worker of Culture of the WKO Bayukansky Felix Arkadyevich , journalist of the regional newspaper “Priuralie” and poet Galina Samoilova, teachers of WKITU Ph.D., associate professor Vorozheykina Olga Igorevna, Ph.D., associate professor Urakchintseva Galina Vladimirovna, as well as teachers of Russian language and literature, librarians schools of the city, deputy director of the Children’s Music School named after D. Nurpeisova Abramova Svetlana Ivanovna, representatives of the youth wing of the “Zhastara Assembly”.
During the event, Vice-Rector for Educational Work of the University Abekeshev Ayanbek Imanbaevich spoke. He noted that “Independent Kazakhstan has accumulated a special positive experience of interethnic cooperation and mutual understanding. The main achievement in this direction is that Kazakhstanis, regardless of ethnic origin, have the right to be called compatriots by their contribution to the development of the Republic, mentality, mutual understanding and spiritual attractiveness. Both in Kazakhstan and in the modern world, this is a rare instrument of ethnic harmony…”
During the meeting, a number of topical issues of cooperation in the field of culture, education, science and the upbringing of the younger generation between the university and representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan were discussed.
Along with this, they discussed the role of youth in the implementation of political reforms in the new Kazakhstan, topical issues related to the development of youth policy and volunteer activities, and also shared the results and work plans of the Dostyk student youth club at WKITU.
At the end of the meeting, Vice-Rector for VR WKITU A.I. Abekeshev thanked the guests for taking part in the round table and expressed his readiness to implement new joint projects.
