On November 14, 2024, within the framework of the event “Quality Week-2024” on the topic “Professional pedagogical activity – the basis for the formation of pedagogical skills”, senior lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Zhumaseitova A. E., Satybaldieva A.M., Garifolla A.M. organized 6B01201 – Preschool education and upbringing, a workshop was held for professors-the teaching staff and students of the educational program        “The effectiveness of the use of art therapy in preschool educational institutions.”

The purpose of the workshop is to show the effectiveness of art therapy in preschool institutions and apply it in practice. The workshop was attended by the teaching staff of the M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan University and students of the 4-th year of the educational program 6B01201 – Preschool education and upbringing,

In the theoretical part of the workshop, senior lecturer Zhumaseitova A.E. spoke about the types of art therapy used in preschool educational institutions and important aspects of its application, in the practical part, master, senior lecturer Garifolla A.M. conducted an Art-day master class for teachers of preschool organizations, senior lecturer Satybaldieva A.M. conducted practical work on visual therapy for preschool children using the methods of “cotton buds” and “finger painting”; teacher-expert of kindergarten No. 9 “Yerkemai” Shadiyarova A.M. conducted a master class on clay therapy “Making jugs”. At the end of the workshop, the participants provided feedback on the results of the workshop using the iPhone method, a method of speech creativity. The workshop, which harmoniously used the connections of theory and practice, was held at a high level.
