On November 13, 2024, the Department of Physical Education and Informatics held a master class on the topic: “Using virtual educational systems”.
The purpose of the event is to familiarize with the functional capabilities of the virtual education system and its use in the educational process, as well as to organize advanced training in practical skills for using virtual education.
The master class was attended by the head of the robotics department of the Palace of Schoolchildren Kyrykbaev Nurbol Musauly, computer science teacher of school No. 23 Mergenbaeva Aisulu Khalykovna, magistrand of M. Utemisov WKU Nurzhanova Ainur Kabylovna, as well as teachers and students of WKITU.
The participants discussed the features of virtual educational systems, the possibility of using virtual platforms in project-based teaching methods, the advantages of the FutureLearn platform and how to use it in the educational process, as well as methods of using the BilimLand platform in school computer science.
Following the master class, the participants exchanged opinions on each of the topics discussed and shared their experience of effectively using virtual and interactive platforms in teaching. The participants emphasized the importance of educational platforms for developing both independent and group skills of students. The university instructors and students received a lot of useful information on how to use these platforms in their practice.
