The “Batys Kyrandary” team of the educational program 6B01601-History of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University on April 4-5, 2024 took part in the XV Republican Student Subject Olympiad “ULUS JUCHI IN THE HISTORY OF KAZAKHSTAN: ROLE AND IMPORTANCE” (DEDICATED TO THE 800TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ULUS JUCHI FORMATION).

Venue: Uralsk, West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov. Teams from the following universities took part in the Olympiad: West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, the E. A. Buketov Karaganda University, “SDU” University, the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, the Shakarim Semey University, the K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, Astana International University, the Y. Altynsarin Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute, the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University.

The main stages of the Republican Student Subject Olympiad were: defense of scientific projects, completion of test tasks and identification of skills in history teaching methods.

As a result of a two-day educational competition, the team of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University “Batys Kyrandary” was awarded in the “Intellectual Group” nomination. In the personal competition, 3rd year student of the educational program 6B01601-History Kuanshaliev Edil Kadyruly won a third degree diploma.

At the final stage of the Republican Student Subject Olympiad – in the captains’ competition – the captain of the group “Batys Kyrandary” Kuanshaliev Edil Kadyruly won the “Best Leader” cup.
