On November 8, 2024, students and magistrands of the educational program History of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University participated in the grand opening of the exhibition entitled “The Hero Who Raised the Honor of the Country” in the local history museum of the West Kazakhstan region, dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of the birth of war and labor veteran, Hero of the Soviet Union Sadyk Shakelovich Zhaksygulov.

Employees of the local history museum of the West Kazakhstan region noted that his exemplary life, invaluable heroism for the sake of the country and selfless work are an example for future generations. Descendants of Sadyk Shakelovich shared their memories, and city library specialists, media representatives and museum employees spoke to the audience at the grand opening of the exhibition.

The students who attended the event got acquainted with the exhibition “The Hero Who Raised the Honor of the Country,” created on the basis of the funds of the regional museum, and learned a lot about the life of war and labor veteran Sadyk Shakelovich.
