On February 11, a roundtable discussion titled “Women in Science, Education, and Business” was held at Tambov State Technical University in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The participants focused on issues of women’s leadership, overcoming career challenges, and the role of women in management and educational activities. Representatives from 19 regions of Russia took part in the discussion, along with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Associate Professor of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Technologies, Lyazzat Anatolyevna Sadykova, participated in the meeting. Her presentation was devoted to the phenomenon of women’s leadership in the era of digitalization. A modern woman combines professionalism, emotional intelligence, continuous self-development, and mentorship—qualities that have become key tools of competitiveness today.

Following the roundtable, a resolution with proposals from the participants will be prepared. The organizers expressed confidence that the tradition of February meetings uniting the professional women’s community will continue.
