On February 28 and March 4, 2025, the university hosted meetings between the rector of ZKITU, Bekbulat Temerzhanovich Shakeshev, and the staff on the topic “The current state of the university’s activities and development directions”.

Duringthemeetings, the head of the university shared information about the work done in the three main strategicareas of the University’s Development Program – educational, methodological, scientific and educational areas, and also focused on modern requirements for higher education institutions, spoke about criteria and indicators of qualification requirements for organizations of higher and postgraduate education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Vice-rector for Educational and Methodological Work S.A.Mashanova and Vice-rectorfor Science and International Relations I.N.Zhubantaev also spoke at the meeting, who focused the audience’s attention on the indicators of the National Rating of Higher Educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and introduced the requirements of the indicators.

The outcome of the meetings was the adoption of a decision on amendments and additions to the main strategic document of the university – the WKITU Development Program for 2023-2029.
