On March 5, 2025, the Center for Innovations and Entrepreneurship of WKITU and the Department of Finance and Economics of the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University organized a competition for business projects “StartUPWKITU.” The purpose of the competition was to popularize entrepreneurship among pupils, develop entrepreneurial and presentation skills of pupils, skills in generating business ideas and increase financial literacy.The competition of business projects “StartUPWKITU” was attended by the chairman of the jury Bakytzhanova Arailym Maratovna, chief specialist of the department “Entrepreneurship and Trade”, jury members Salimbaeva Sholpan Disenbaevna, Master of Economics, senior lecturer, Nurmanova Aisulu Kairgalievna, Master of Economics, senior lecturer, Tlesova Zhanat Amangosovna, Master of Economics, senior lecturer, Timirgaliev Ilyas Naurzbaevich, Master of Economics, senior lecturer.

5 teams were presented for the competition – the 10^th-11^th grades pupils of secondary schools No. 10, 38, 37. As part of the competition, various business ideas were proposed that are relevant and in demand at the present time. The ideas covered a wide range of zones from the opening of hairdressing salons to the creation of a poultry farm. Following the results of the StartUPWKITU business ideas competition, the jury summed up the results and the results were announced. The winners received diplomas and gifts.
