The library is the national treasure and precious cultural heritage. The others will learn about the country and about the education from the library.

The great writer of the modern times A.Kekilbay once said: “The library  is the saint place, and the librarians are the guards of the precious treasures, therefore, they  shouldn’t vanish”. As the librarians meet the high demands of their jobs, they willtake them with big responsibilities.

To catch up with time, to meet the demands of the readers, to keep the valuable cultural heritages andto promote the historical persons are the main tasks of the librarians. To respect and evaluate the librarians’ great contribution, the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared on 18.10.2022 under the order№ 833to celebrate the 24 October as the Librarians’ day.

To support this initiation, the rector of the West Kazakhstan Innovative-Technological University B.T. Shakeshevcongratulated the librarians on the professional holiday.

“There is an endless treasure – it’s the library” wrote Pier Boiste. If the hunter of the treasure is the reader, the guard is the librarian. If there is the Gravity law between these two, the library will keep thriving.
