On September 28, 2024, the international educational festival «World of Professions» was held on the territory of Orenburg State Agrarian University. Teachers of the Department of veterinary medicine and technosphere safety of IOT ZKITU, d.v.n., professor Absatirov G.G., d.v.n., professor Baitlesov E.U., candidat of chemical sciences, head of the department Baitlesova L.I. took an active part in the festival.

The participants of the festival, among whom were representatives of universities and colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus, secondary school students of the Orenburg region, had the opportunity to get acquainted with various professions, attend master classes, exhibitions of specialties of the OGAU.

Also, participants and guests of the event were able to get acquainted with a wide range of products presented: cereals, pasta, milk, sausages, cheeses, canned fruits and vegetables, as well as participate in determining the quality of products and taste it. The participants of the festival plunged into the world of various professions, participated in master classes on animal management, cultivation of agricultural crops, management of unmanned systems and field equipment, fingerprinting and many others.

Presentations of professions were held at the festival, where representatives of various enterprises and organizations told the invited students about the professions in demand in the Orenburg region, about employment prospects and professional development opportunities.

 As part of the trip, Professor Absatirov Gaisa Garapovich gave a guest popular science lecture to students of the 4th and 5th courses of veterinary specialties of the OGAU on the topic «Experience in using practical veterinary medicine in teaching specialized disciplines».

There was also a meeting with the head of the Department of International Relations, O.N. Maksimova, doctor of political science. Within the framework of the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed, covering the organization of academic mobility, research practice and scientific internship for undergraduates.

The World of Professions Festival, filled with interactive platforms, open dialogues, master classes, new acquaintances, meetings, became a wonderful event for all participants and left unforgettable impressions!
