On October 2-3, 2024, the VIII Annual Meeting on Enhancement of the Qualifications of the Offices of Registrars of Universities was held at Nazarbayev University in Astana. The head of the Office of Registrar of the Institute of Education and Management Laura Kusikbayeva and the head of the Student Service Center Ainur Amangaliyeva took part in this seminar from West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University.

The purpose of this event is to solve current problems of the Office of Registrar of Universities and exchange experience with other universities. In particular, ways to resolve issues related to the unified platform for higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (EPVO), the Compulsory Social Health Insurance Fund (CSHI), Financial Center JSC, and Platonus LLP were discussed and proposed.

Also, as part of the VIII Annual Meeting of the Offices of the Registrar of Universities, participants listened to lectures at advanced training seminars on topics such as “Automation of student information systems in universities”, “Optimization of daily operations in the Student Service Center: improving work efficiency”.
