On September 30, 2024, teachers of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology took part in a field seminar of the Educational and Methodological Association/Project Management Group of the RUMS in the areas of training higher and postgraduate education “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Information Security” on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Time of effective applications”.

The event took place in the city of Kyzylorda and brought together representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as leading experts in the field of information technology and education.

The seminar was devoted to topical issues of the use of artificial intelligence in educational processes. Within the framework of the program, participants discussed innovations in IT education, got acquainted with HUAWEI’s AI solutions and studied the experience of technology implementation at East Kazakhstan Technical University.

ZKITU teachers actively participated in practical sessions where they practiced their skills of working with generative artificial intelligence. Discussions on the new model of engineering education and training of modern specialists in the face of global challenges became an important part of the event.
