On December 10, 2025, faculty from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Institute of Education and Management, Candidate of Pedagogy, associate professor R.S. Kinzhekova and senior lecturer, Master of Pedagogy, A.E. Zhumaseitova organized a seminar on “The Educational Value of Abai’s Words of Edification” for second-year students of pedagogical educational programs.
The goal of the seminar is to provide national education to the younger generation through Abai’s works, to influence the consciousness of young people with Abai’s noble, deeply meaningful thoughts, and to achieve a spiritual breakthrough in the human soul through spiritual education.
In the theoretical part of the seminar, second-year student of the “Foreign language: two foreign languages” program, Ali Amangeldy presented his paper on “The Content of Abai’s Idea “On the Holistic Man””; Mutigolla Adambek, a second-year student in the Physical Education and Sports program, presented a report titled “Abai: The Future of Youth in Science and Education”; Aruzhan Tlepkalieva, a second-year student in the Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education program, presented a report titled “Abai’s Thoughts on the Moral Education of Youth”; Nagipa Sharafadinova, a second-year student in the Computer Science program, presented a report titled “Abai on Labor Education”; Daryn Utepkaliev, a second-year student in the Physical Education and Sports program, presented a report titled “The Image of Fighters for the Achievement of the Great National Heritage Created by Abai”; and Zhanel Kulamankyzy, a second-year student in the Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education program, presented a report titled “Abai’s Admonition to Newlyweds.” The practical part featured posters on the topic “Abai’s Seventeenth Edification,” and participants summarized their thoughts by expanding on Abai’s philosophical proverbs and expressing their opinions using QR codes.
This educational seminar also served as a final project on the topic “Theory and Methodology of Educational Work,” allowing students to combine their academic and theoretical knowledge with practical application.
