Senior lecturers of the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computing Technology (EACT) at the West Kazakhstan Innovative-Technological University (WKITU) — A.N. Shatekovа, A.B. Kairanbayeva, D.E. Zhukenova, and A.M. Sarsengaliyeva — conducted career guidance meetings with senior students of Secondary Schools No. 26 (November 28, 2025) and No. 39 (December 10, 2025) in Uralsk.
The main goal of these events was to familiarize students with the university’s educational programs, admission requirements, and opportunities for obtaining modern technical and innovative education. The career guidance initiative aims to support students in professional self-determination and to increase their awareness of study opportunities at WKITU.
During the sessions, lecturers presented the university’s study programs and explained the advantages of studying at WKITU, including:
- practice-oriented learning;
- cooperation with leading regional enterprises;
- opportunities for internships and industrial practice;
- participation in research projects, competitions, and innovation activities.
Students showed particular interest in admission procedures, application deadlines, scholarship opportunities, and dormitory conditions. All participants received informational brochures about the university.
The career guidance meetings sparked high interest among students in WKITU’s technical and innovative programs. Senior students expressed a desire to continue communication and receive individual guidance for choosing their future profession.
The administration of School No. 39 noted the importance of the work conducted, expressed gratitude to the university lecturers, and confirmed readiness for further collaboration.
