On April 23, 2025, in accordance with the IIT Work Plan, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety held a round table on «Copyright, the mechanism of registration and filing of an application for an alleged invention» with the participation of the faculty of the Institute. During the round table, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Shirvanov R.B. gave a description of patent activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan as a mechanism protecting the exclusive right of an author or inventor to the results of his intellectual activity, various types of patents operating in the country, informed the participants about the rules for processing documents for obtaining a patent, in particular, the preparation of descriptions and formulas the invention, the procedure for filing an application for industrial property, the specifics of passing a formal examination and substantive examination of the application. The problems and difficulties encountered during the preparation and filing of patent documents were the subject of active discussion among the participants of the round table. The event was held in an atmosphere of interest, and its goal was achieved.
