On April 22, 2025, the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computer Engineering held a meeting of the Academic Committee to discuss changes to the educational programs for the 2025–2026 academic year: 6B07102 – “Electric Power Engineering,” 6B07105 – “Automation and Control (by industry),” and 6B06104 – “Computer Engineering and Information Systems.” The meeting was attended by both external and internal stakeholders.
During the discussion, the committee reviewed the proposed changes submitted by the department and external reviewers. It was decided to replace the course “Financial Literacy” with “Fundamentals of Economics, Law, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Literacy,” and the course “Fundamentals of Ecology, Business, and Law” with “Fundamentals of Inclusive and Sustainable Culture, Safety, Ecology, and Anti-Corruption.”
In addition, modifications were made to the content of specific courses: for the program 6B07102 – “Electric Power Engineering,” topics were clarified in the courses “Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering 1,” “Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering 2,” and “Relay Protection and Automation in Solar Power Plants”; for the program 6B07105 – “Automation and Control (by industry),” the courses “Linear Automatic Control Systems,” “Fundamentals of Automation and Control,” and “Design of Automated Control Systems” were updated; for the program 6B06104 – “Computer Engineering and Information Systems,” the courses “E-commerce,” “Digital Circuitry,” and “Computer Architecture” were added and revised.
As a result of the discussion, all participants supported the proposed changes and agreed on the need to update the educational program content.
