On December 10, students of the 1-2 courses of the educational program 6B07205 Technology and Food Safety made an educational and educational excursion to the Ural city bakery. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the technological features of food production and compare theoretical knowledge with practical experience by observing production processes. The participants of the tour were greeted by Lyudmila Grigorievna Degtyareva, chief technologist of the plant, who spoke in detail about the operation of production lines, requirements for receiving, storing and processing raw materials, as well as about the capabilities of modern technological equipment.

The students gradually observed the production cycle of bakery products: dough preparation, molding, baking, cooling and packaging. In addition, the chief technologist provided information on compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements in production, safety standards, the use of a quality management system, and also introduced the stages of product control before it reaches the consumer.

During the tour, the students not only got acquainted with the real conditions of the production environment, but also were able to ask their questions and receive professional advice from a specialist. The event helped to increase students’ interest in the field of food production and had a positive impact on their future professional training.
