On September 21, 2022 at 15.00 the Department of General Educational Disciplines of the Engineering Humanitarian Faculty organized and held a scientific students’ conference on the theme “Akhmet Baitursynov – Ult Ustazy”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of A. Baitursynov.

The purpose of the conference is to instill students’ interest in knowledge of languages, the formation of patriotism through the study of the cultural heritage of people. The conference was moderated by senior teacher of the department Sultangalieva A.A.

The conference was attended by 1st year students of the specialty “Architecture”, “Computer Engineering”, “Environmental Safety”, “Jurisprudence”.

The head of the department of general education disciplines, candidate of historical sciences, professor Kadyrgaliev N.M. made a welcoming speech.

The most interesting reports were prepared by students: Otegen D. the report “Creative heritage of Akhmet Baitursynov”; Laykova A. the report “Enlightener of the Nation Akhmet Baitursynov”; Batyrova A. “A. Baitursynov. Olen”, Мukhambetova Zh., “А.Байтұрсынов- Алаш қайреткері ретінде”. 

At the end of the conference, the candidate of philological sciences, WKITU professor Shkanova B.A. She noted the thorough preparation of students, the reports at the conference were informative, and wished the students success in their studies. The event was held in an organic and friendly atmosphere. According to the results of the conference, students were awarded with diplomas and certificates of participants.
