On April 7, 2026, on the eve of the Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a roundtable discussion titled “Chemistry and Science: A Student’s Perspective” was held at the Institute of Sectoral Technologies of the West Kazakhstan Innovative Technology University.
Vera Alekseevna Burakhta, Doctor of Chemistry and Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety, emphasized the significance of young people for the development of science in Kazakhstan, the importance of student research, and the formation of scientific thinking. The event was attended by first-year students from technical and biological educational programs. Pavlovskaya Tatyana, Kazbekov Alisher, Dusaliev Ruslan, Kamaev Nikita, and Kochetkova Elizaveta presented reports on the importance of chemistry in science and future professions.
The round table was held in an atmosphere of active discussion and became an effective platform for developing the scientific potential of students.
